Thanks to Grant and Jim for alerting me that today is The Historian's Family's second blogiversary. I've been so busy at the Board of Elections over the past six weeks, I totally forgot! I've not posted here too much in the past year, but I have plans for this blog in my head so I totally refuse to take it down (or whatever you do to unwanted blogs). Here's hoping for a more productive third year at the Historian's Family.

Yes do keep posting. I just started with GeneaBloggers two months ago. I'll be checking on your resolve. :-)

Hi Amanda!
I was drawn to your blog by Thomas MacEntee's post on Facebook. I have a few Eppersons in my family tree. My great-grandmother Dovie C McBurnett's second husband was Lon Washington Epperson (Kentucky 1877-Texas 1961). They had one child, Donald Epperson (1925-1996). Any relation?

Happy Blogiversary, Amanda. Looking forward to seeing what your plans are :-) Jo
Ruth,
My Eppersons stayed in Virginia until the early 19th century and then migrated to East Tennessee. There might be a some connection since it's not a common name, but it would be quite distant.
Amanda
Grant & Jo,
It was my goal to post more regularly to this blog in 2012. Perhaps knowing that you two are "watching" me will help me be better in 2013. :)
